You can now make contactless payments up to £100, to make paying more convenient. Starting today, we’ve increased the limit for contactless card payments from £45 to £100. So you’ll be able to make single payments of up to £100 using your contactless Monzo card.

Payments are made to your monzo account using a URL that contains your full name (monzo.me/forenamemiddlenamesurname). Since the URL is not encrypted, this feels insecure as some of your personal details are being sent out in the clear (your name in this case).
