Where do FIU students hang out?
People can go to clubs, hookah bars, drinking bars, the Miami zoo, the seaquarium, the beach, go snorkeling, swimming, thousands of restaurants to dine at, and there is even a skating rink 15 minutes away from the MMC campus. FIU students have many opportunities to be involved with the school , the city and have fun.
Is FIU a party school?
FIU is somewhat of a party school, with occasional events on campus, but that distinction is far more common in Florida’s upstate colleges, such as Florida State University and University of Florida.
What makes FIU unique?
The best thing about FIU is all the art that surrounds us. The campus has the Robert Frost Museum, the Green Library has various exhibitions that change every so often, and there are sculptures all around the school. Being surrounded by all the art all the time makes the campus very peaceful and intriguing.
